  Notes	SIT Ref Page 509 AUGUST STRID, a farmer and renter in Brushy, came in the company of his wife and daughter to Georgetown, Texas, in 1909. He was a stonemason in Sweden, and and lived in Östergötland where he was born in 1856 in Western Skrukeby and where he married Kristina Ekstrom in 1893. She died in February 1918, leaving her sons, Carl and John, and a daughter, Martha.They are members of the Swedish Methodist Church in Georgetown.
